We love the area and started driving in the resort in 2019, we visited 4 times that year while in the area to ask questions and meet the staff in the office. ALL 4 times we had lots of questions about different sites, boat slips, and long term stays. We had gone over the rules many times on line so we also knew what was expected of us. Covid really hit hard last year to a lot of us, but we managed to have a few stays. We've rented their pontoons and explored the intercoastal for restaurants and things to do. We ordered our 5th wheel in December of 2019 and have kept it there on site and in storage from the day it was delivered in March of 2020. We won't be going anywhere else, this is our home away from home, the staff is our adopted family and have always gone out of their way to help us. We are newbies to this, but not to the area. We plan on bringing our own boats this coming summer for pleasure and fishing. I speak for me and my family, this place is awesome. My only request is to have some premium sites for long term stays. if you're willing to pay, why not? Thanks to the staff of the community as well as the marina for all your hard work behind the scenes that no one sees and also for what we do see.
